All dinghy racing apart from the sternchases are average lap to maximise racing time for all competitors.

The overall dinghy championship will combine each competitors twenty best results from the Monday evening series, Wednesday evening series, Saturdays series and the Sunday mini series.

Easter series

Four Sundays and one Wednesday evening starting on 29 March. Rolling handicaps apply.

Monday Evening races

Starting on 21 March, sailing in South Queensferry Bay (NB three of the Monday races are on Thursday evenings so check the calendar before you come down). Rolling handicaps apply.

Two one off evening races on Monday evenings. Open handicaps apply.

Wednesday Evening races

Start time 19.10, starting off the break water and racing longer courses that might include crossing the river. Rolling handicaps apply.

Saturday races

Three series of races with back to back racing on Saturday afternoons. Rolling handicaps apply.

Sunday races

Three one day mini series of three back to back races. Open handicaps apply.

Sternchases

Two sternchases, one dinghy only and the other combined with the yachts. Start times are calculated using rolling handicap.

Autumn PM series

Five afternoon races each Sunday from the beginning of October through to the first weekend in November.

Winter PM series

Six afternoon races each Sunday from through November and December. Culminating with the Last Race trophy the Sunday before Christmas.
