If you are having problems using Viewranger to record and upload attack here are some step by step instructions to upload your track :
Record Track on App
Step 1 – When you have loaded the Viewranger app on your iPad you should have a map showing with some map coordinates at the top of the page. To the left of the co-ordinates there is a small arrow pointing left. Click on the arrow and it should reveal a window with 8 options.
Step 2 – Click on the ‘Record Track’ and then the record button.
Step 3 – Click on the record button again when you want to stop recording.
Step 4 – Click on upload
Check on upload settings, tracks recorded and check upload on App
Step1 – At the 8 options screed in Step 1 above click on ‘Settings’ and then ‘Account and licence’ to check your web account and password.
Step 2 – Click on ‘Back’ twice and then click on ‘Record Track’ then click on ‘track list’ and it should display any tracks you have recorded.
Step 3 – Click on a track and at the bottom it gives you the option to upload the track (again) if you like.
Retrieve track from ViewRanger web account and upload to raceQs
Step 1 sign into your Viewranger account at http://my.viewranger.com/auth/login
Step 2 click on the track that you want to download
Step 3 in bottom tight corner click on ‘Export to GPX’ and note where the file has been downloaded to on you pc/mac
Step 4 sign into your raceQs account. On your journal page Click on ‘Upload GPS’ and select file above
You should now see an image of your track on your raceQs journal page
