Weather looking good for Bosun’s Locker Trophy, the first FYCA Forth Inshore Group race of the Season

The PEYC hosted Bosun’s Locker Trophy race traditionally kicks off the FYCA Forth Inshore Group (FIG) series. The race starts at 1100 On Sunday May 4th. This is a passage race which often involves racing both up and down the river. If the wind is fine it is usually over 20 miles and involves rounding half a dozen marks in 3-6 hours depending on the course, wind and tide. With no Div 1 Port Edgar boats going to Scottish Series this year it promises to be a hotly contested affair.

The current Forecast is for a warm, bright day with a light but building South Westerly breeze.
