Car Parking
Parking at Port Edgar Marina for members and guests of Port Edgar Yacht Club is free providing you have registered your vehicle with the yacht club. The first hour of parking is free of charge if you plan a short visit.
You are encouraged to use the public car park if you don't have a berthholder's fob. If the public car park is full then you can ring the marina on the intercom at the bertholder's barrier and tell them you are coming to the yacht club and they will often let you through. In any case you still need to register.
There are two ways to register your car with the yacht club:
- on the computer tablet in the foyer at the club on the day (this only lasts 24 hours)
- emailing rcshorepeyc@gmail.com and requesting your name be added to the permanent list at the next opportunity.
Please note that it can take a little time to get your name and car registered permanently with the marina and car park company because currently this can only be done periodically. You must wait until you receive an email from rcshorepeyc@gmail.com confirming your details have been added. In the meantime it is important you continue to use the tablet in the foyer of the club.
Please do not assume that any changes to car registrations have been entered on the Marina Parking system until you receive a confirmatory email, otherwise you may receive a hefty penalty charge from the outsourced parking contractor!
