Dinghies

 PEYC aims to promote dinghy sailing for a wide range of abilities and interests. The emphasis is on having fun in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We run funsails on a Monday evening during the summer- a chance to sail in the bay, over to Rosyth or go on a 3 bridges cruise with the RIB in attendance to offer advice and help.   Racing is held on Thursday evenings during the summer and on Saturday afternoons from April to December.

The club has a Laser (both radial and full rig), a Laser 13 and  a Topper Magno available for members to borrow. The Magno is a 1 or 2 person dinghy which can be sailed with a mainsail only, a mainsail and jib, or as a 3 sail boat with an assymetric spinnaker. The Laser 13 is an cruising dinghy, excellent for learning how to sail.  The boats can be booked for races and funsails via the PEYC bookings page
