What can you do with the new website ?

Members Portal There is a members portal that gives you the ability to see your relationship with the club all in one place.
You now also have the ability (and responsibility) to manage the personal data the club has about you.
You can enter your boat details including photos and list your crew. This would be useful to the club in the case of an emergency.
You manage your bookings and duties, enter races and join events from here as well as many other things.
Interactive Calendar There is an interactive Calendar which shows everything that is going on in the club.
You can select the types of event you are most interested in.
If you click on the event then you can view more details including who else is involved or has booked up and you can book events direct from the calendar if you like.
Membership Directory There is a member directory you can use to lookup fellow members and contact them.
For those members that upload a photo you can try and find the name that goes with the face you recognise.
Crewfinder Mix and Match will now use the SCM Crewfinder feature for both crew and skippers. It works in a similar way to the old system but only those crew registered with mix and match will be matched.
Yacht Race Details If you click on a yacht race you can download the OOD duty sheet and predict what courses might be used for a given wind strength and direction.
We will continue to use our existing results system with rolling handicaps.
707 Events PEYC host two or 3 707 Events every year. This year we are hosting the 707 National Championships again.
Our visitors will be well supported by many of the same features we are able to use for our club racing.
Payments In SCM we are using Gocardless and Stripe as payment methods at the moment. In the Members portal you can decide whether you want to use your Gocardless membership mandate for paying for bookings etc (which is the default) or whether you wish to disable that in which case you will be given the opportunity to pay by Card through Stripe.
