Yachts

Our Yachting activities cover both Racing and Cruising.

There are regular club races on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons as scheduled in the Calendar.  Further details are set out in the Racing Organisation section, where you will find the Courses, Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions.   Open race events are held two or three times per year for the Hunter 707 Class and details can be found in Major Events.   

The club's Cruising events are held on Thursday evenings and at the weekend.  

Whilst some race yachts have regular crews, for others there is a Mix & Match system to help put crews and skippers in touch. 

We also conduct Teaching and Learning sessions and those looking to improve their skills can book mentored sessions on one of the club's Hunter 707 keelboats or on our 33ft Ronautica sloop "Eurobo".   All these planned activities are visible in the Calendar through which members are able to enter events and book sessions.  

If not already booked for an organised session, the club boats are also available for hire to members who have been successfully accredited.  707 Hire. Hire of Eurobo is planned to be available later in the season
